Qualifications & experience Masters / Degree / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or equivalent / relevant disciplinesMinimum 5 years' experience in safety supervision and implementation in building construction industry and proven track record of completing project with quality achievement in safetyRegistered competent Safety & Health Officer (SHO) with the Occupational Safety & Health Department (DOSH) – must have a valid GREEN BOOKKnowledge in property and construction terminology, high-rise construction, security and environment managementWorking Location at Genting PermaiTasks & responsibilities To oversee safety & health matters at the construction siteTo assist the project management team to assess and monitor the implementation of Project Safety, Health & Environmental Plan (SHE) To coordinate and conduct regular safety visit, audit and inspection at the site;To perform investigation on any accident/incident and propose corrective & preventive actions;To liaise with the relevant authorities/clients on all safety & health issues;To conduct tool box meetings, safety briefing, safety induction and relevant meetings with all site personnel to ensure safety & health procedures are clearly understood;To perform site inspection and audit in ensuring all safety methods and regulations are being observed.Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
