Safety Engineer (Sho)

Responsibilities
To adhere and enforce safety rules and procedures by adopting established safety code and practices and regulatory requirement to all employees working in a safe and sound environment.
Conduct safety promotion and awareness with day-to-day monitoring and enforcement for safety procedures, rules, and regulations to meet good safety standards.
Day-to-day permitting approval for hot work, confined space entry, excavation works, and any related safety permitting.
Inspection of scaffolding, safety audits, and other safety-related activities.
Conduct SOC for contractors, project punch listing, and follow up with completion items of outstanding items.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemical Engineering or Engineering from a reputable university.
3-8 years of experience in petrochemical, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
Great personality and a willing to learn attitude.
Registered SHO or attended exam for SHO.
Competent in Safety & Health technical knowledge.
Well versed with OSHA legal requirements and other industry code of practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
