Safety Executive

To assist in formulating safety & health policies and procedures in accordance to OSHA 1994 Act 514 & FMA1967 requirements.- To organize training and briefings on safety awareness programs, safety orientations and formulate safety policies.- To undertake management and upkeep of safety documentation, monthly reports & adminstrative matters.- Support the development of OHS policies and programs.- Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, etc.).- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.- Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.- Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives.- Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment).- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker's compensation claims.- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.- To ensure safety compliance of workers in the workplace.- To observe & report unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and propose recommendation control.- To promote and implement safety & health programs and practices.- To prepare monthly safety and health reports and inspection checklists.- Inspect all safety equipment, including firefighting equipment and first aid box.- To assist safety personnel.- To observe & record unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and track the data trend and formulate countermeasures.To promote and implement safety & health programs and campaigns.**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month**Benefits**:- Dental insurance- Health insurance- Opportunities for promotion- Vision insuranceSchedule:- Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:- Overtime pay- Performance bonusAbility to commute/relocate:- Batu Kawan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- Safety: 2 years (preferred)Expected Start Date: 09/16/2023
