Job Description:
Responsible to develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.To conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.Organize safety training and briefing for employees to promote a culture of safety.Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and standards.Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory agencies.Develop and implement environmental management programs to minimize waste and promote sustainability.Conduct environmental impact assessments for new projects or changes in operations.Oversee the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment systems to ensure compliance with health and environmental standards.Conduct regular inspections of sewage facilities to ensure proper functioning and compliance.Collaborate with local authorities and environmental agencies regarding sewage management and compliance issues.Develop and implement sewage management plans and emergency response procedures.Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to safety, health, and environmental management.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and environmental performance.Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalent.Candidate must possess a CePIETSO-BP, CePIETSO-PCP and CePSTPO issued by EiMAS. Well versed with Malaysia Regulations (Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, Fire Service Act 1988, Uniform Building By-Law 1984 and Environmental Quality Act 1974).Holding green book and registered with DOSH.At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.Up to date on latest local and state regulation and guideline changes.
