Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment)
Responsibilities:Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations, standards and procedures;
Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace;
Developing and implementing measures to mitigate risks and prevent accidents;
Designing and delivering safety training programs for employees to raise awareness and promote safe work practices;
Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root cause and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence;
Developing, updating, and enforcing safety policies, procedures and protocols;
Planning and coordinating emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols;
Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess compliance and ensure adherence to safety standards;
Maintaining accurate records of safety training, incidents, inspections and compliance activities;
Communicating safety-related information to employees, management and relevant stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and compliance;
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in safety practices and procedures to enhance workplace safety and reduce risks.
Job Requirements:Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in related field;
Valid DOSH Registered SHO (Green Book);
Three or more years of experience in related department;
Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous complex enterprise;
Understanding of safety management system and regulatory issues;
Being a DOE registered Scheduled Waste competent person is an advantage.
