Safety & Health Officer (Sho)

**KEY DUTIES**1. Ensures, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company HSE system2. Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company directives3. Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided4. Assists related department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with Health and Safety at work5. Conducts safety audits both internal and external6. Takes part in accident / incident investigation, carries out analysis identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans7. Carries out any in-house safety training8. Provides Safety support and advice, including supervision on preparation of plans and procedures for initial contract start up activities9. Develop and maintain safety statistics and recordSupporting Task1. To implement Company General Rules, Regulation at all times2. To ensure and monitor all planned activity are carry out efficiently complying with our MS ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and EMS 14001:2007 and 5S requirement**QUALIFICATION**- Preferably Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety or equivalent Engineering or related field & Green Book Holder**EXPERIENCE**- At least 5 years working experience in Safety & Health or related field- Oil & Gas Safe Passport (OGSP) (Active).- Experience in oil and gas are preferred.- Willing to work at oil refinery, Sungai Udang Melaka.**COMPETENCIES/SKILLS**- Proficient in English/Bahasa Malaysia (both verbal & written).- Able to work productively with mínimal supervision, result-oriented with excellent planning and organizational ability, resourceful and has high sense of urgency to complete tasks within deadlines.**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 months**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM5,900.00 per month**Benefits**:- Cell phone reimbursement- Free parking- Maternity leave- Opportunities for promotion- Professional developmentSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Deadline: 04/30/2024Expected Start Date: 04/01/2024
