Job Responsibilities:To liaise with the local authority (e.g., MPK, KKM, DOSH) on matters concerning HSE-related issues.
To prepare an annual safety training program based on the training needs/competency analysis and arrange for its implementation.
Check if all employees are adhering to rules and regulations.
Ensure a safe workplace environment.
Attend safety walks and inspections before or during each project to analyze safety risks.
Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.
Intervene in correcting unsafe work practices that may be occurring in the organization.
Initiate and organize OHS training for employees and executives.
Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management, and liaise with and report to official regulatory bodies on OSH matters.
Ensure that all accidents are recorded, investigate incidents to determine causes, handle worker's compensation claims, and recommend corrective actions.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be needed or assigned by a superior from time to time.
Promote ISO 9001 and other relevant quality, product standards, and certifications maintained by the Company.
