About the roleAs the Safety Site Supervisor at CAPITAL PM SDN.
BHD., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained across our construction projects in Kuching, Sarawak.
This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols on the job site, providing training to site workers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
What you'll be doing
Conducting regular safety inspections and audits of the construction site
Identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and risks
Providing safety training and toolbox talks to site workers
Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents that occur
Ensuring all necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) is available and used correctly
Liaising with project managers and client representatives on safety matters
Maintaining detailed records and documentation of safety activities
Promoting a strong safety culture and advocating for safe work practices
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety site supervisor in the construction industry
Thorough understanding of construction site safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with site workers
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in report writing and documentation
Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) would be an advantage
