The Role
JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and drive growth within the assigned territories or market segments.
Reporting & Budgeting: Develop and present periodic sales and performance reports to management.
Assist in setting the department's budget and manage expenses within the approved limits.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Monitor performance metrics (KPI), address gaps, and develop strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management: Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and distributors.
Offer tailored solutions, negotiate terms, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Insights: Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Conduct market research and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
Develop processes to improve customer satisfaction and sales efficiency.
Performance Monitoring: Analyse sales performance, generate accurate forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior management.
Identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring continuous improvement in sales operations.
Key Account Strategy: Identify, engage, and set revenue targets for key accounts, collaborating with local distributors to explore new opportunities.
Ideal Profile
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent.
Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or healthcare-related disciplines can be advantageous.
Minimum of 3 years of proven sales management experience in the medical device field.
