Sales Assistant Plant Nursery

Job Responsibility
Welcome and assist customers, providing product recommendations and solutions.
Operate cash registers and process payments accurately.
Achieve individual and team sales goals.
Clean, organize, and restock the store as needed.
Perform plant care tasks, including watering, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control.
Pack plants and products for online orders.
Maintain the nursery's cleanliness and organization.
Assist in store displays and promotional activities.
Participate in training to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
Support social media live selling sessions, if required.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Intake: December 2024
Minimum education: Diploma or higher.
Physically fit and capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including outdoor work and lifting heavy items.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
Good working attitude and a dependable team player.
Positive attitude and responsible character.
Enjoys handling plants and working in a temperature-controlled greenhouse.
Knowledge of farming best practices is an advantage, but on-site training is provided.
Students from agricultural colleges will have an added advantage.
