Helping the sales team improve productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales Representatives have high-quality, up-to-date support materials.
Handling urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are unavailable, answering customer queries, informing them of order delays and arranging delivery dates.
Handling orders by phone, email or mail and verifying order details.
Inputting orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently.
Developing and maintaining filing systems to maintain sales records, prepare reports, prepare costing sheets, and provide financial information to the finance department.
Answering customers' questions about credit terms, products, prices, and stock availability.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from customers.
Performing all general administration work directly and indirectly related to sales.
Performing all other duties as assigned by the company.
Knowledge, Abilities & Skills Required:
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales administration or a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
Good team development and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
Excellent administrative, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
