Job DescriptionGeneral Description:
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in the sales process by identifying and qualifying potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for the company. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, engaging with them to understand their needs and interest in our products or services.
Job Responsibilities:
Educate SME retailers and F&B operatorson the importance of using their data to gain insights into their business and customers with the objective of increasing their revenues and decreasing their costs.
Work closelywith the Head of Sales.
Generate, qualify, and nurture leadsthrough researching, making calls, and emailing SME retailers in order to get appointments and opportunities.
Create businessfrom new customer accounts.
Set up meetingswith customers for in-depth consultancy.
Deliver product demonstrations and presentationsto clients and partners.
Conduct researchand identify potential clients through various channels such as online databases, social media, networking events, and lead generation tools.
Reach outto prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and personalized messages to introduce our company's products or services and gauge their interest.
Assess the needsand requirements of potential clients to determine their suitability for our offerings. Qualify leads based on set criteria and prioritize opportunities for further follow-up.
Schedule meetingsand demonstrations for the sales team with qualified prospects to further explore business opportunities.
Nurture relationshipswith potential clients by providing them with relevant information and addressing their queries. Maintain communication to keep them engaged with the company's offerings.
Work closelywith the sales team to align strategies and provide them with valuable insights into potential customers, ensuring a smooth handover of qualified leads.
Record and updateall relevant information related to leads and prospects accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Stay up-to-datewith industry trends, competitors, and market developments to better understand customer needs and enhance sales strategies.
Meet and exceedmonthly/quarterly targets for lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting.
