We are offering a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to join the Commercial Management Team of a world-class engineering solutions provider.
The company is a German-owned manufacturer, renowned for delivering innovative, bespoke mechanical and electrical solutions.
This role is part of the Regional Sales & Service leadership team and will report directly to the VP of Sales for APAC.
We are seeking an experienced leader with a strategic mindset, driven to expand the customer base within the Oil & Gas (O&G), Chemical, and Power sectors.
The ideal candidate will work closely with customers on-site, building lasting relationships across these industries.
A proactive approach is essential to achieve ambitious growth targets, supported by strong business planning and reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Budget Ownership : Lead the growth and pipeline development for O&G, Chemical, and Power sectors.
Drive order intake and develop and execute strategic plans to meet growth targets.
Strategic Collaboration : Work with Solution Support teams and Marketing to develop and implement branding and positioning strategies, positioning the company as a preferred cooling solutions provider.
Competitive Analysis : Monitor competitors' activities within the accounts and formulate appropriate response strategies.
Market Insights : Provide input on market pricing trends and developments.
Sales Process Implementation : Drive the application of standardized sales and marketing processes (e.g., CRM systems, account plans) across the region.
Compliance & Integrity : Champion the company's commitment to upholding a culture where compliance and integrity are integral to every aspect of the business.
Customer Business Understanding : Analyze the key drivers of customer businesses and their environment, identifying opportunities for growth and aligning them with the company's solutions.
Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience : Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Sales Manager in O&G, Chemical, or Power industries, with a focus on technical sales.
Leadership : Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and lead the growth of a sales team.
Pioneering Spirit : Demonstrated ability to contribute to building and enhancing a sales organization.
Team-Oriented : Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and propose effective solutions.
Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of O&G, Chemical, and Power market segments.
Experience in the heat exchanger industry is a significant advantage.
This is a remote role and can be based in either Malaysia, Singapore or Indonesia.
