Location: MY - Kuala Lumpur - ASEAN region Goodyear Talent Acquisition Representative: Katrena Calimag-Rupera Sponsorship Available: NoRelocation Assistance Available: No Primary Purpose of the Position You will lead the definition, development, and delivery of short-term/long-term sales objectives for the defined sales region to deliver sustained revenue and profit growth in support of Goodyear's overall company goals and strategies.
You will develop and lead the sales team for the defined sales region in expanding Goodyear's distribution network by identifying and capturing market opportunities through enhanced consumer experience, recruiting and helping distributors to build capabilities to serve Goodyear's retail network effectively, and coordinating and executing Goodyear's pricing, marketing, and after-sales strategies in the field to create and capture market demand.
Job Responsibilities: Sell in and Sell Through Target Delivery You will help achieve the company's product and volume targets, deliver direct profits, control and manage revenue risks in the operating channels ensure the health of the company's OCF, and achieve targets Sell in Operation Management You will build a high-performing Goodyear and distributors sales team through recruitment, coaching and training and effective deployment of the resources to be able to serve You will define and monitor the daily activities of both sales teams to enable effective sales visits, new products/ SKU pipelining, merchandising and assortment execution, inventory management, retail store recruitment, and competitive monitoring Sell In Strategy and Planning You will join the establishment of sales strategy design and build an execution plan for the defined region by taking the overall company sales and margin targets and developing the required network and coverage model to support distributor sell-through.
You will establish and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets within the defined sales region and lead the S/I sales team in the S/I planning and delivery of sales and margin targets in support of the overall company sales and margin targets.
Coordinate sales & marketing programs while working with local distributors on local programs that create market demand and sustain business growth Cross-Function Collaboration You will liaise with Goodyear's's multifunctional team and provide input on product requirements, marketing activities, price positioning, and after-sales programs based on local market demands.
You will execute product sell-in, marketing, price/promotion, and after-sales programs which drive consumer traffic to Goodyear stores and help the S/T S/O marketing after-sales team to improve Goodyear satisfaction.
Channel Excellence You will design and develop an effective distributor network that can expand and serve Goodyear's retail network with the right tire, to the right place, at the right time with the right distribution channel and E/C channel You will develop joint business plans with each distributor to create and capture market demand, define required distributor organization and logistics capabilities to serve Goodyear's retail network, monitor and improve distributor cash flow to minimize Goodyear credit risk, and co-develop distributor policies that improve distributor profitability.
Job Qualifications: A bachelor's Degree is required with an MBA is an advantage At least five years of progressive sales experience in the tire industry, total 7-10 years of working experience At least three years of people management skill Business and market development skills Business and financial management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong people management Computer literate, English proficiency Basic financial P&L acumen & logistic knowledge Goodyear is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
