This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales targets at retail and project customer base.
The incumbent is required to lead the retail sales force of Sarawak, formulate sales strategy, and develop sales forecasts to achieve sales targets.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Understand and monitor Syntalun's dealers, retailers, developers, architects, competitors, and other market information.
Maintain a close connection with dealers and retailers in the respective region.
Coordinate, develop, evaluate, and audit the yearly budget of retail and projects development execution in the respective region.
Develop and supervise a strategic, consistent, and long-term retail and project sales network.
Recommend, guide, develop, and assess new retail and project sales networks.
Advise on problem-solving methods in relation to dealers, retailers, and customer complaints.
Coordinate the sales activities in the respective region to achieve the sales objectives.
Provide training and guidance to the dealers to increase awareness of the importance and profitability of the retail market.
Maintain the competitiveness of the sales activities and be well-versed on the market situation and the competition.
Present new products announced by the national channel marketing team to engage for buy-in and ensure new products are displayed in all relevant marketing channels.
Maintain all marketing assets developed or cascaded down from national.
Assist in trade marketing activities planning & execution including events for developers, D&A, consumers.
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS :
Reports to the director.
Communicates with different people in the retail and projects market.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
SPM/College or degree graduated or above with business development knowledge and general marketing/sales concepts.
At least 2 years of experience in retail/projects development or sales management, preferably gained from plumbing or consumer durable manufacturing industries.
At least 2 years of experience in managing distributor and market development.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and training skills are required.
