Responsible for promoting food packing machines to corporate customers within assigned region or segment.
Responsible for building and maintaining close relationships with business partners including customers, distributors, agents, and vendors.
Responsible for contract and pricing negotiation with both customers and suppliers.
Responsible for achieving sales targets set by the company.
Responsible for market trends, product competitiveness, and competitors analysis and evaluation, establishing market strategies and initiatives.
Responsible for attending to and processing customer inquiries efficiently and accurately until deal closing.
Responsible for growing and expanding footprint in assigned region (whether it be regional, local, or international).
Responsible for preparation of sales quotations and following up for Purchase Orders from customers.
Responsible for on-time payment collection.
Responsible for handling customer complaints.
Planning, developing, and executing efficient marketing strategies and initiatives.
Responsible for handling and attending exhibitions and other promotional events.
Responsible for liaising with the Accounts Department to ensure payments are received before delivery.
Responsible for preparing and submitting sales reports to management as per schedule.
Any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors from time to time.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing, International Business, or a relevant field.
Minimum 2 years working experience in a Sales or Sales Engineering position.
Experience in the machinery industry, flexible packaging materials, or related sectors.
Proven track record in managing export sales including knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping incoterms, and preparing and managing export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading (CIF, FOB, BA, LC, etc.).
Experience with setting up overseas exhibitions/tradeshows, selling, serving, and closely following up with customers, and a strong track record of hitting sales targets.
Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies on how to communicate with customers in international markets.
Strong communication skills and presentable appearance for a highly client-facing role.
Strong problem-solving abilities to handle issues related to export activities such as customs clearance and logistics.
Strong understanding of customer requirements and Company products' competitive edges.
Strong team spirit and a strong understanding of the company's strategic goals in product sales, product expansions, clientele target, and expansions.
High reliability, dependability & detail-oriented person.
Able to travel locally and overseas for customer visits and exhibition purposes.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of spoken Mandarin will be an added advantage for dealing with certain market segments.
Upon hitting the company's set sales target for 3 consecutive years, a pay increase and promotion may be discussed.
Yearly income as high as RM100,000 with commission, PA insurance, medical and hospitalization benefits, and further career developments at the company.
