Sales Executive

Primary Responsibilities:
Acquiring and updating knowledge of employers' and competitors' products and understanding market conditions.
Sell logistic services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects.
Make appointments and visit potential customers for new business.
Providing prospective customers with general and specialized information, support, and guidance to maintain relationships with customers.
Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, completing contracts, and recording orders.
Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of products.
Reporting customers' reactions and requirements to management.
Conduct research and recommend new opportunities and service improvements.
Identify product improvements or new products by researching current industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects' positions in the industry and conducting research & development.
Responsible for payment collection from customers.
Maintain and foster relationships with existing and new customers to ensure continuous success of accounts.
Prepare reports for daily sales activities, monthly sales performance, and new clients list.
Responsible for providing the best service to clients.
Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned or required from time to time.
Must have a freight forwarding background.
Sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and haulage service industry.
Possess knowledge of the industry market.
Good grasp of the terminology and concepts of the industry.
Able to bring in new customers for the company.
