What you'll be doing
Business Development and Client Acquisition
Utilize Sales Funnel methodology to meticulously track the customer journey and sales processes.
Identify and secure new project-based business opportunities within commercial and residential sectors, focusing on expanding the company's client base.
Conduct diligent follow-ups on prospective customers and leads to nurture them into viable sales opportunities.
Proactively seek new leads through networking, industry events, and referrals, targeting builders, contractors, ID, project specifiers, project consultant and developers who specialize in flooring and wall paneling needs.Client Relationship Management
Foster and cultivate relationships with Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Developers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Specifiers & Project Consultant to identify new business opportunities.
Create brand awareness and offer customized solutions to clients based on their business needs.Project Management and Coordination
Oversee the sales cycle from initiation to project completion, coordinating with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
Collaborate closely with installation teams to ensure product specifications, timelines, and quality standards align with project requirements.
Prepare and conduct presentations to architects, consultants, and developers whenever deemed necessary.Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement effective sales strategies for project accounts, aligned with company growth objectives, to maximize revenue.
Present detailed product information, benefits, and competitive advantages to clients, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the flooring and wall paneling industry.
Initiate product improvement as dictated by changes in customer requirements and competitor action.Market Research and Analysis
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs in the flooring and wall paneling sector to inform and adjust sales strategies.
Conduct research on potential project opportunities, utilizing insights to anticipate client needs and position products effectively.Sales Targets and Reporting
Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, with accountability for reporting sales performance, forecasts, and project progress to management.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of all project sales activities, ensuring transparency and effective communication with the Sales Manager.Customer Satisfaction and Service Excellence
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, addressing and resolving client inquiries or issues promptly.
Consistently deliver exceptional service quality to build the company's reputation as a reliable project partner.What we're looking for
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, bachelor's degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent.
Proven experience in project sales within the building materials or interior design industries.
Ability to conduct product presentations and confident in interacting with clients at all levels of an organization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage).
Must be self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Familiarity with flooring, wall paneling, or construction materials is highly desirable.
