Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
Identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
Key Accountabilities:
Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Assists on projects where necessary.
Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned, communicated via emails, memos, letters, or other readable methods.
Key Skills:
Prepares reports of all sales leads.
Compiles presentations, proposals, quotations, and prepares weekly/monthly reports for Management.
Sets up meetings with prospective clients to discuss their needs and service offerings.
Works with marketing to develop proposals.
Follows up on sales calls.
Conducts cold calls to potential clients for new lead generation.
Communicates with existing clients to update them on the company's solutions, services, and technology.
Handles requests from clients by responding to customer inquiries.
Creates case studies on projects and services.
Assists in planning for exhibitions that the company may attend or participate in.
Performs other tasks as requested for the sales growth of the company.
Job RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Marketing Management, Marketing, Market Intelligence, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in the BAS/BMS/HVAC/CONTROLS/ELECTRONICS industry or similar function/knowledge.
Competent skills in Microsoft Office 2010, including CRM/SAP.
A minimum of a Diploma in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
