Job Description:
To create focus on product understanding and its applications for selling products and generating revenues.
Developing products and Principals wise business plan for achieving targeted sales & profitability.
Understand customer requirements for value added services like stocking, registration, customized grades, just in time & align to deliver them.
Understand critical product specification for different application & deliver service and sales accordingly for plastics and Polymer industry.
Promoting Fillers, Pigment and various products for plastic/ Polymer application & its value-added services to customers & devise a reach out plan.
Key Account management to derive sustainable value propositions for Principals and customers.
Developing sales strategy/plan based on target of the company.
Identifying and introduce New Products, New markets, New Customers related to plastics/polymer application.
Increase market share of max range of products.
Relationship building & retention plan for existing customer.
Timely book Sales positions based on market intelligence.
Quality & timely delivery of product to customer.
Lead, inquiry and order management.
Periodically review the performance of sales with reporting manager and ensuring direction setting, corrective & appreciative feedback.
Market representation & agreement to augment sales.
Should be highly inclined to customer satisfaction & complaint redressal.
Cross functional Interface with Sourcing (for market intelligence on entire value chain products)-Risk-Finance-Logistics-Operation and marketing team.
Conduct Periodic review of product and Principals reports.
Build and maintain Key Account relationship with customers in assigned region.
Purpose of the Role:
To meet set goals as per the business plan of the organization in the Plastics/ Polymer segment business unit.
To define/implement processes in line with business needs.
Gain an in-depth knowledge of the business of the organization (will be supported through adequate training by the organization).
Understand internal and external environment dynamics affecting the business.
Ensures the required transparency in the assigned market region (market potential, competitor activities, customer trends, etc.).
Ensures an efficient customer support in assigned market region.
Develops, including in-house and external specialists, customized concepts and ensures an effective quotation preparation as well as conducts sales negotiations.
Develop and expand the market presence and Define Go TO market strategy for the Advanced Materials division business.
Implements the sales targets of the company in the market territory. Submit quotations and contracts in line with organization directives. Support the region with implementation of lead generation activities through both digital and conventional ways.
Education:
Graduate in Polymer technology/Chemistry/Chemicals Engineering.
A qualification in Management (Sales & Marketing) would be added advantage.
Work Experience:
Around 5 to 7 years of sales experience, out of which a minimum experience of 3 years in Key Account management and sale.
Working in a high-tech, multinational matrix organization and experience in selling Pigment, fillers Additives (Plastic/Polymer), of the Chemical industry is an advantage.
Sales experience is mandatory.
Must be willing to travel across Malaysia and overseas for training purpose as and when required.

Has the ability to manage techno commercial discussion with customers and Principals.
Has the ability to conduct sales conversations and negotiations to convert business deal and generate revenue.
Has a professional command on business English and the respective local language of assigned market in spoken and written.
Understand the up/downstream markets of our customers.
Good balance between relationship sales and challenger sales is desired.
