JobResponsibilities:- Forecasts goals and objectives forsales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annualbasis.Hires, trains, motivates, counselsand monitors the performance of all new-vehicle salesemployees.Assists individual salespeople insetting aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives andprovides them with the support to meet thesegoals.Maintains an accurate daily logthat reflects all sales activities in thedealership.Ensures proper follow-up of allpotential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring aprospecting and sales controlsystem.Develops, implements and monitors afollow-up system for new-vehiclepurchasers.Maintains teamwork in acustomer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, deliveryand follow-up process.Conducts daily and weekly salesmeetings.Provides effective communicationthroughout the new-vehicle department as well asinterdepartmentally.Ensures that new-vehiclesalespeople understand and follow dealership policies andprocedures.Oversees the efforts of new-vehiclesalespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratingsof the dealership.Works with salespeople on programsthat will increase the new-car gross and F&Ipenetration.Helps salespeople close deals whennecessary.Establishes and maintains standardsfor the delivery of vehicles tocustomers.Assists the used-vehicle departmentwith trade appraisals asneeded.Attends managers meetings asrequested.Maintains professionalappearance.Other tasks asassigned.Job Requirements:- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) fromfour-year college or university; or one to two years relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educationand experience.Five years related experienceand/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience
