Sales Manager (Baby And Maternity Industry - Malaysia Office)

Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion within the baby and maternity industry.Identify and target key customer segments, analyze market trends, and capitalize on business opportunities to achieve sales targets.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, retailers, and distributors in the industry.Lead and manage a sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales objectives.Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare sales reports for senior management review.Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and promotions.Ensure effective merchandising and product placement in stores to maximize sales opportunities.Manage pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions to drive product sales and meet revenue goals.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify growth opportunities Help manage marketing requests from the sales team and retailers.Preparation of weekly EDMs.Support Bloom Connect on EDMs and website content e.g. banners.Work with sales and marketing team to increase branding in stores both online and bricks and mortar – including window & in-store display installation.Coordinate and manage events for Bloom & Grow in Malaysia including consumer shows, retailer events, bloggers & press events with support from the local team.Help to coordinate with media and KOLs for product seeding and relevant coverage of our product range and launches.Collaborate with other non-sales channels for brand growth and awareness. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the baby and maternity industry.Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team towards success.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.Familiarity with sales techniques, customer relationship management, and retail operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Kuala Lumpur's retail landscape and distribution channels in the baby and maternity sector is a plus.Ability to travel within Kuala Lumpur and occasionally regionally for business meetings and industry events.
