About the roleAs the Sales Manager (Commercial & Corporate) at IPOH AUTO CITY SDN BHD, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial and corporate sales. Responsible to oversee the sales operation of commercial vehicles, ensuring revenue targets are achieved while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a sales team, developing strategies, and building strong relationships with clients, particularly fleet customers.
This full-time position is based in Ipoh, Perak, and you will be responsible for achieving ambitious revenue targets and forging strong relationships with key clients.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement plans to meet and exceed sales goals and increase commercial and corporate sales.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive.
Negotiate and close deals with high-value clients to secure repeat business.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.Manage, recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team to meet and exceed their individual and team sales targets.
Set and evaluate individual and team performance metrics.
Client Relationship ManagementEstablish and maintain relationships with fleet clients and key accounts.
Provide tailored solutions based on customer requirements, including vehicle configurations and load capacities.Market & Product KnowledgeStay informed on commercial vehicle trends, specifications, and competitor offerings.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial and corporate sectors.
Work with technical teams to recommend customized configurations to clients.Reporting & AnalysisPrepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and process improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
Represent the company at industry events and networking activities.What we're looking for
Experience:Proven track record of success in a sales management role, preferably within the automotive or related industry. Minimum of 5 years in commercial vehicle sales or a related field.
Skills:Strong negotiation, leadership, and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team. Excellent negotiation and customer relationship management skills. Proficiency in analyzing sales data and using it to drive strategic decision-making. Expertise in vehicle configurations, fleet management, and emerging industry technologies.
Tools:Proficiency in CRM software and data analysis tools.
