Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Manager at YONGLI Belting in Malaysia.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing sales strategies, building and maintaining customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
They will also oversee sales team performance, conduct market research, and collaborate with other departments to drive business growth.
Qualifications
Sales Management, Sales Strategy, and Customer Relationship Management skills
Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
Experience in market research and analysis
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team leadership and performance management abilities
Knowledge of conveyor belt industry or related sectors is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Essential Job Functions
Increase business and account base from machinery industry.
Conveyor belting industry experience is preferred.
Collaborate with management team and the respective teams to develop sales account plans for strategic industries.
Develop and sustain solid relationships with strategic customers.
Address and resolve strategic customer complaints.
Communicate and collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams to ensure that strategic customers' needs are met.
Compile reports on industry development progress, goals, and forecasts for management and key stakeholders.
Develop a thorough understanding of strategic customers' needs and requirements and prepare customized solutions.
Negotiate contracts with strategic customers and meet established deadlines for the fulfillment of each customer's long-term goals.
Assist the Sales Team with closing business and driving revenue.
Develop trusted relationships with prospective customers and elevate within the company to senior management to drive desired outcomes.
Report on sales metrics and accurate forecasting directly to leadership.
