Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is commonly required.
Experience (3 – 5 years) in sales.

Job Scope
1.
Sales Strategy DevelopmentPlanning:Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company goals and objectives.
Market Research:Conduct research to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities.
Target Setting:Set sales targets for the team based on company objectives and market analysis.

Team Management and LeadershipRecruitment and Training:Hire, train, and onboard new sales team members.
Provide continuous training and development.
Motivation:Inspire and motivate the team to achieve and exceed sales goals.
Performance Monitoring:Regularly evaluate the performance of sales team members, providing feedback and coaching.
Goal Setting:Set individual and team goals to align with overall business objectives.
Pipeline Management:Oversee the sales pipeline and ensure consistent follow-up on leads and opportunities.
Forecasting:Provide accurate sales forecasts based on market conditions and team performance.
Reporting:Prepare regular reports on sales performance, trends, and potential improvements for senior management.
CRM Management:Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track sales activities and customer data.

Customer Relationship ManagementClient Meetings:Build and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects.
Customer Retention:Implement strategies for customer retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
Customer Feedback:Gather and act on feedback from clients to enhance products and services.

Collaboration with Other DepartmentsMarketing Team:Collaborate with marketing for lead generation and to align sales campaigns with promotional strategies.
Product Teams:Work with product or service teams to understand new offerings and convey their value to customers.
Finance/Accounting:Collaborate with the finance department for pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and commission structures.
KPI Tracking:Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, revenue, and market share.
Continuous Improvement:Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas of improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Budgeting and Resource ManagementBudgeting:Oversee the sales department's budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Cost Management:Ensure that sales activities are cost-effective, and optimize expenses related to sales campaigns.

Sales Presentations and NegotiationsProposals:Lead the development and presentation of sales proposals and contracts.
Negotiations:Handle pricing, terms, and conditions with clients to secure deals while maintaining profitability.

Market ExpansionNew Markets:Identify and explore new market opportunities, whether geographical or vertical.
Business Development:Seek new business partnerships, alliances, and potential customers.
