Sales Manager - Oil & Gas (Compression)

As the Sales Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity through order entry and deliver the successful sales campaigns for Siemens Energy Gas Turbine portfolio in Oil & Gas for both Power Generation and Mechanical Drive applications.
In this role, you will be expected to liaise with the customers, EPCs and process licensors for early business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for gas turbines. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.
How You'll Make an Impact
BS or BA degree in Mechanical Engineering
Deep technical understanding of the centrifugal compressors.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry with at least 3 years in sales/business development role.
Adept at analyzing and solving complex problems strategically, with a keen focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
Proficient in communication, both written and spoken, able to discuss technical and commercial aspects.
Strong presentations skills, both written and oral at all levels.
Must be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organization.
Ability to follow and successfully apply all internal processes and policies.
Willingness to travel as required.
What You Bring
Lead and deliver successful gas turbine sales campaigns in the Oil & Gas for GS in both power generation and mechanical drive
Identify and maintain the opportunity list in Salesforce in a punctual and accurate manner.
Develop winning strategies for each found opportunity by considering customer needs, equipment application, aftermarket, and LTP strategy at Siemens Energy.
Lead a multi-function capture team to ensure the sales success
strengths, competitor's weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
Lead technical and commercial negotiations with the customer until contract closure.
Manage the organizational risk through the entire sales development process both in terms of customer contractual obligations as well as providing robust internal sales forecasting.
Achieve and maintain superior responsiveness to customers with quality information to strengthen Siemens Energy position.
