Job Description of Sales Merchandiser:Merchandisers help a company optimize their sales and profits by ensuring that retail stores are stocked with the right products in the right quantities.
This may include stocking shelves, arranging and maintaining product displays, pricing products, and monitoring the store inventory.
Responsibilities include performing stockouts, organizing the shelf, setting up displays, and setting up price and promotional signs.
Merchandisers are responsible for managing the product selection, pricing, display, and promotional plans of a retail store or chain.
This includes determining which products to carry, tracking inventory levels, analyzing sales data, and reporting to the immediate supervisor/director.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience as an outlet or display merchandiser.
