Make it your story.This position reports to:Business Manager - E2EYour role and responsibilities:In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite. This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytical business in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. You will be mainly accountable for:
Selling ABB custody transfer product range & solutions including metering supervisory system, flow computer, flow meter, etc. to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product, systems, services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.
Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools and performing regular status reviews, proposing recovery plans in case of any potential order shortfalls.
Creating added value for the customer and ABB and ensuring the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
Communicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating the value proposition to customers.
Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers are in place, including prices and trading conditions.Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor or master's degree in engineering.
5 years' experience in custody transfer / metering system sales focusing on flow computers and metering supervisory system.
Strong knowledge on technical, targeted customers - metering system, flow computers and metering supervisory system, knowledge of the local Malaysia market. Technically sound on metering system is a must.
Experience in key accounts management and large project pursuit.
Proven ability to develop and manage customer relationships with key decision makers of existing and potential customers.
Proven ability to present and advise customers on custody transfer systems.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills. Experience in strategic pursuit / framework agreements / new developments.
Knowledge of the market of custody transfer for gas and liquid, metering supervisory system, flow computer, flow meters, gas chromatograph would be an advantage.More about us:The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world's leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation.
