Sas Developer

Responsibilities:- Coordination of data enrichment/enhancement projects and deliverables between IT and business units to support continuous business data dynamics required in the areas of MIS and analytical reporting needs.- Analyze business requirements to perform feasibility studies / gap analysis / functional / technical design in the areas of data profiling, cleansing and transformation.- Design / Document / Implement / Test / Deploy systems & solutions to meet the business needs.- Build appropriate SAS programs to create SAS datasets from various database, external data sources and other data sources based on business requirements.- Reconstructing and managing specific data marts requirements and customer data mapping from business perspective.- Strategically planning for migratory / scalable data warehouse roadmap for future- Research and recommend technologies and solution design to fulfil business requirement- Work closely with Project Manager, Business Analyst and Technical Delivery teams to ensure quality of deliveries- Work closely with other organizational units and external parties in systems implementation- Responsible for functional / technical / administration / operation documentations of supported systems- Must understand and follow security guidelines concerning confidential information**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Information Technology or relevant studies- At least 1-2 years of development experience using SAS programming is a must.- Proficiency in using SAS data step, SAS Macro and other SAS programs.- Knowledge in multiple Databases & SQL (INFORMIX, ORACLE, DB2)- Knowledge in Business Intelligence & Reporting Tool, Data Warehouse will be an added advantage.- Strong logical and analytical skill- Understanding of insurance business domain and relevant data information (an added advantage)- Excellent interpersonal skills and highly proficient in oral & written communication (English)- Highly proactive and self-motivated individual with proven leadership exposure- Independent and highly analytical individual with good problem solving skills- Willing to accept significant responsibility and accountability- Able to cope with challenging delivery timeline and pressure at workPay: From RM3,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Day shift**Experience**:- SAS programming: 1 year (required)- multiple Databases & SQL (INFORMIX, ORACLE, DB2): 1 year (preferred)
