Our Strategy and Transaction (SAT) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns.
As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital.
Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within SAT include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax as well as Valuation, Modelling and Economics.

Our diverse team has advised on some of our largest and most complex infrastructure projects and asset management contracts working side by side with governments and the private sector to provide impactful advice and advisory services.

taking transactions to market and supporting transaction evaluation, negotiation, execution and contract management

Your key responsibilities
Be part of the Infrastructure Advisory team to advise clients on delivery, commercial, risk, procurement, strategic and public-private partnerships issues for large-scale infrastructure projects and programmes
Develop clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations to assist our clients in understanding complex problems
Support the delivery of feasibility studies for public and private sector clients
Manage assignments by ensuring that work products and services are client focused, clear, accurate and well presented
Work within a partnering environment, form effective working relationships and make a positive outcome to the investment programme/sub-programmes
Manage, support and develop junior members in the team
Support the leadership team in business development activities including the development of proposals and presentations
Provide coordination support with regional EY offices (e.g., Australia, Singapore), public & private sector clients, external advisors (e.g., technical, legal) and other relevant stakeholders on infrastructure initiatives, events, and projects
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have
A Bachelor's degree (a Master's degree will be an advantage) in either engineering, science, project management or construction
Minimum of 3 years (Senior Associate Level)/ 6 years (Manager level) of work experience in consulting or engineering
Experience in one of the following industries/sectors: transport, energy, utilities, oil & gas, process and manufacturing industries, and renewables
Experience of working in project and programme management, asset management, engineering/design management, developing procurement strategies and commercial models, contract management, stakeholder management, risk & value management
Good knowledge and application of project management/project delivery techniques including scheduling, management of risks, issues and opportunities, value management, design management, quality, sustainability, environmental, construction management
Good understanding of project delivery covering feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover
Diligent and has a strong drive to excel professionally with a drive and enthusiasm to learn and be involved in new areas/initiatives
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Ability to write reports, develop presentations and communicate clearly
Ideally, you'll also have
Good understanding of government and/or private infrastructure projects, procurement models, funding models, contracting approaches, and project delivery issues
Good digital literacy skills in particular with PowerBI or Tableau
Experience of using digital tools/software which includes: BIM and digital construction, planning and scheduling, risk management, enterprise collaboration platforms
Certificate in Project Management, Construction Management or other related Infrastructure, Construction or Engineering certificate
Natural curiosity and the ability to think creatively to solve problems
Positive working attitude and motivation to learn
Experience gained within another large professional services organization
Established networking skills in a relevant industry
