We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to manage and coordinate the planning and scheduling of operations, maintenance, and project activities within our oil and gas refinery operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining schedules, ensuring timely execution of tasks, and coordinating with various departments to optimize resources and meet project deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with HRC HSSE standards and requirements.
Ensure compliance with the GAME Maintenance Execution process.
Accountable for delivering/publishing accurate daily and weekly work schedules to the relevant stakeholders.
Provide progress updates and look-ahead resource planning/scheduling.
Develop work schedules based on work order backlog, optimized for the available resources.
Track and update schedule changes due to interruptions from emergency and schedule-breaking work orders.
Track and monitor both preventive and reactive work order backlogs.
Monitor work order backlog levels in relation to resource availability and recommend improvement plans.
Undertake special assignments as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Ensure the timely development of optimized work schedules.
Resolve work order priority conflicts.
Ensure timely updates to work schedules based on the occurrence of reactive work orders, emergency work, schedule breakers, unplanned shutdowns, and pit-stops.
Have knowledge of the actual level of resources available compared to the projected level and understand its impact on the work schedule.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance execution.
Basic understanding of maintenance processes, including preventive and reactive maintenance. Familiarity with work order management and backlog tracking systems (e.g., SAP).
Ability to develop, update, and optimize work schedules based on available resources and work order priorities.
Proficiency in monitoring and adjusting schedules for emergency work, unplanned shutdowns, and schedule breakers.
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with contractors, maintenance teams, and stakeholders.
Capable of providing accurate progress updates, look-ahead plans, and effectively resolving priority conflicts.
Commitment to adhering to HSSE standards and the GAME Maintenance Execution process.
