Valid D & GDL & E driver's license with a clean driving record (License E holder will have an advantage)
Minimum SPM graduate or equivalent (Candidates with lower qualifications are encouraged to apply)
Proven experience as a Logistic / Personal Driver or in a similar role
Familiarity with local and regional routes
Familiar with the basic mechanics of vehicles (Lorry, Van and Car) would be an added advantage
Other requirements:
Must be willing to work overtime during some seasons and over the weekends
Must not mind driving children and youth on routes
Non-smoking candidates preferable in a school setting
Have courteous and polite manners
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Background check and clearance required
Responsibilities:
Safely transport students to and from school, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
Safely and efficiently transport any goods and items to designated locations.
Ensure all delivery documentation is accurate and complete.
Assist when needed with loading of goods onto vehicles.
Respond calmly and appropriately to any emergency situations.
Safety and Cleanliness:
Ensure the safety of all passengers by following traffic laws and school policies.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections including pre and post trips and report any maintenance needs.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Inform supervisor for van maintenance and cleaning upkeep.
Other expectations:
Collaborate with school departments and logistic team for efficient route planning.
Be courteous and responsible as an adult to both students and school staff.
Any other responsibilities and tasks reasonably expected of you as a Driver.
This is a full-time job and contract-based position with potential for renewal, subject to mutual satisfaction with the working relationship.
