The Opportunity:
You will have a chance to be part of the Zurich Edge Platform, an end-to-end Digital Native Insurance Platform designed for new distribution models.
Insurance offerings on this platform will be specifically designed for straight-through processing across the full insurance value chain.
As the Scrum Master, your responsibility is to drive the delivery of projects related to the APAC Digital Retail Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement agile methodology, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
Determine, monitor, and manage tasks, issues, risks, and action items.
Schedule and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective, and other meetings.
Monitor progress and performance and help teams make improvements.
Plan business workshops, organize demos, and conduct product/system testing.
Manage dependencies between vendor deliverables and scrum team delivery plans.
Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, and effective communication.
Ensure the proper use of collaborative processes and remove impediments for the scrum team.
Track project processes, deliverables, and financials.
Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders.
Work with Scrum Team and stakeholders to influence decision making and support project or product teams.
Collaborate with IT Vendors, partners, and internal delivery teams for pragmatic delivery.
Required Skills and Experience:
Prior experience as a scrum master delivering IT projects.
Experience as a project manager.
Experience in financial services/insurance highly regarded.
Prior experience in web technologies and APIs highly regarded.
Courses and certifications in Project Management and/or scrum methodology.
Strong knowledge of using JIRA for managing projects.
Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies.
Ability to lead by influence.
Ability to work across diverse Asian cultures.
