Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, Value Added Services Zs-Oc

You will be part of our Operational Care Team to add your expertise and skills to the delivery of Operational Excellence.
Your RoleYou will be responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to arrange and approve value added services (VAS) for our customers.
Your ResponsibilitiesYour scope of responsibilities will be determined by your country structure and your manager, consisting of some or all of the following tasks:
Organize transport based on the customer promise and lowest cost.
Coordinate with the customer on specific pick-up/drop off location and time.
Facilitate permits and documents for customs.
Arrange other VAS such as fumigation, stuffing, certificate of origin, etc.
Perform all communication with vendors, with the exception of carriers.
Update systems status and upload documents relating to KN services.
Attend to Dangerous Goods approvals.
What Will It Be Like to Work in the Value Added Services Team?Start your day reviewing the status of VAS requests and prioritize in line with our customer promise.
During the day, maintain close relationships with our vendor's teams.
Representing the world's largest NVOCC, continuously negotiate the best buying rates in the market while securing and enforcing service level commitments.
Ensure all relevant systems are updated with the newest information.
Attend to approval requests for import and export dangerous goods shipments, playing an essential role in keeping our organization, our vendors, and our customers safe.
Set aside sufficient time to analyze your buying rates and deploy procurement initiatives to optimize our cost base.
Your Skills and ExperiencesProven experience in sea logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of customs regulations and documentation for sea logistics.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with dangerous goods handling and approvals is a plus.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
