Job Responsibilities:
Report to department head
Lead and manage process engineering section to achieve defined objectives.
Ensure operation of MPE section comply with departmental & company policies, objectives and SOPs.
Planning, co-ordination and allocation of resources to project and order assigned.
Monitoring of project progress in order to fulfil project schedule and customer requirement.
Ensure availability and reliability of project/order file such as technical document, tooling list, setup sheet, etc.
Authorize work drawing and engineering change.
Drive cost reduction through engineering improvement activity such as DFM, Lean manufacturing, kaizen etc.
Product costing and quotation preparation.
Identify annual training needs for subordinates and submit TNA to HR for training planning.
Conduct training effectiveness evaluation for subordinates who attended training course.
Conduct periodical performance appraisal for subordinates.
Maintain good housekeeping and 5's.
Maintain consistent application of company policies, procedures and shop floor rules.
Adhere to all application Occupational Safety and health laws and regulation as well as such standards, practices and procedures instituted by the Company.
Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by HOD, General Manager or Directors.
To adopt systematic problem-solving method to analyses, identify and resolve root cause of problem.
