Job DescriptionResponsible for all Direct employees related topics such as below:
Partner with business leaders on hiring demands and needs.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues.
Coaching and counseling managers and employees in all areas of performance management and process (performance improvement plans, annual appraisals, career pathing, timely feedback, conflict resolution).
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
Collaborate with internal and external legal advisors to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures.
Union Management
Involved with collective agreements.
Liaised with Union work site committee and also National Union.
Responsible for RBA – Labor system
Ensure compliance according to RBA criteria.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 15 years work experience as an Employee Relations personnel or similar role.
Experience in Union Management.
Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience in employee engagement and retention strategies.
Ability to analyze data and provide insights for improvement.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
