Job Responsibilities:Operational duties:
To protect and safeguard company's property from theft, loss, damage, vandalism and mischief.
To deter and prevent crime through guard and patrol duties at all blocks and car parks.
To observe and check on all accessible gates and doors to make sure that they are secured and no unauthorized persons are trespassing after business hours.
To carry out security flushing at all floors and ensure that all doors are securely locked after business hours.
To perform dock mastering duties.
Crowd and traffic control duties:
To perform crowd control duties, ensure smooth traffic flows and to enforce proper parking.
To perform crowd control duties during the visit of VVIPs and during special functions.
To be polite, courteous and maintain a good liaison with customers and to be ready to provide the necessary assistance when required.
Emergency Response:
To respond to emergency situations.
To be well versed with the building plan, location of all emergency exits, key points and procedures on the execution of immediate action drill and evacuation.
Other duties:
To attend class, briefing, lectures and other training programs.
To perform any other duties as directed from time to time.
To be polite, courteous and maintain a good liaison with patrons and to be ready to provide the necessary assistance when required.
Job Requirements:Qualifications: Secondary education
Experience: Experience in Security / Armed forces / protective services or equivalent, or retired army / police personnel
Skills / Competencies:
Physically and mentally fit
Possess interpersonal and communication skills
Willing to work on shift and long hours
Open and honest in dealings
