Job DescriptionManage, develop and deploy effectively shift in house security and outsource security to meet company's security and protection objectives.
To ensure the Security Shift Team runs in accordance with company policies, rules and regulations.
Conduct a spot check on miscellaneous items for the concerned department as needed.
To organize daily deployment effectively and also manage the outsource security on daily basis.
To ensure all the team members comply and understand security process and procedures and well-disciplined on security and safety requirements.
Conduct general inspection on buildings, grounds, equipment, operation system and manpower deployment to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Take remedial action as and when shortcomings and deviations are detected.
Manage effectively Integrated Security Systems such as CCTV, TMS, Access Control System, Intrusion Detection System (IDS)/Emergency Door Alarm, Boom Gates and Badging System.
Develop tactics and strategies for effective and meaningful deployment of security personnel in preventing crime and generally maintaining public order.
Lead plant Shift ERT (Emergency Response Team).
Take immediate action in the event of major safety/security incidents and control the situations until the arrival of the relevant body e.g.
Security Manager/HSE Manager.
To conduct thoroughly investigation on any reported cases, do preliminary investigation report, secure all relevant evidences and submit to immediate supervisor/Security Manager within shift.
To supervise and motivate subordinates to achieve the departmental goals through the set of values of the company.
Perform any other security/safety duties or initiatives as directed by the immediate superior/Security Manager from time to time.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in any related Safety & Security field
Minimum 2-4 years working experience in security systems (CCTV, Access Control System, EM Door Alarm, etc)
Law enforcement or community residential security/protection experiences are value added.
Good in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Good investigation and interview skills.
Using of necessary computer tools (e.g.
PowerPoint, MS-Office, Excel)
A good sense of responsibility and decision making ability
