-Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs, based on their specific requirements and abilities.
-Adapt and modify curriculum materials, instructional strategies, and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities, learning difficulties, or other special needs.
-Collaborate with classroom teachers, learning support teams, and parents to identify and address students' learning challenges and implement effective intervention strategies.
-Provide direct instruction and support to students, both in individual and group settings, to enhance their academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
-Employ a variety of teaching methods, technologies, and resources to engage students and facilitate their learning progress.
-Maintain accurate records of students' progress, achievements, and areas requiring further development, and communicate this information effectively to parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
-Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes diversity, respect, and understanding among students, and encourages their active participation and collaboration.
-Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of special education, and incorporate this knowledge into instructional strategies and approaches.
-Attend professional development workshops, seminars, and conferences related to special education to continuously enhance your knowledge and skills.
-Collaborate with other teachers, school counselors, and support staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to support the inclusion and well-being of all students.
-Take up any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your Supervisor / Head of Department.

; Requirements:-
-Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
-Experience working as a SEN Teacher, preferably in an international school or diverse educational setting is an added advantage.
-Sound knowledge of different learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and other special educational needs.
-Familiarity with various assessment tools, instructional strategies, and assistive technologies used in special education.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, colleagues, and external professionals.
-Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes the well-being and growth of all students.
-Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
-Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the unique needs and challenges of each student.
-Proficiency in written and spoken English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
