Job Description As a Senior/Staff SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for spearheading support and development initiatives within our SAP ecosystem, with a specialized focus on ABAP programming and Fiori in S/4 Hana.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, develop applications, and ensure the seamless integration of SAP systems.
This role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Develop and maintain ABAP programs to meet business requirements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Customize and enhance Fiori applications to optimize user experience and align with organizational objectives.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of developed solutions to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for existing SAP systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Stay updated on SAP technologies, trends, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities and drive innovation.
Participate in project planning and estimation, providing valuable insights to ensure the successful delivery of SAP initiatives.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives to foster a culture of learning and development.
It will be an advantage if the candidate is familiar on module PP, TWM, and TM.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5-10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on Fiori and S/4 Hana.
Extensive knowledge of ABAP programming language, including advanced concepts such as BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements.
Hands-on experience with Fiori design principles, SAPUI5, SAP BTP, and OData services.
Good technical knowledge in the ABAP workbench and Eclipse with ADT (for CDS and OData) including PDF Forms.
Experience in supporting IDOC, SFTP, WebService integration.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex SAP projects from conception to implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
SAP certification(s) is a plus.
