SENIOR ACADEMIC FELLOW (AF3) - Department of Information System Kulliyyah of International Islamic University MalaysiaAs a fellow, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the minds of the next generation of IT professionals.

The candidates shall be a member of the staff of the Department of Information Systems (DIS) which is assigned by the KICT.
The candidates shall perform teaching, examining, and research duties and such other obligations as are normally required of an academic staff member of the IIUM.
The candidates should also undertake moral and religious obligations in relation to their colleagues and students as part of their duties as a member of the academic staff of IIUM.
As a senior academic fellow, the candidate is required to attend any meetings related to administrative positions they may hold.
This attendance is mandated by appointments made under the IIUM or through administrative directives issued by the Rector, Dean, or Head of the Kulliyyah/Centre/Department/Institute/Office/Mahallah.
Key ResponsibilitiesCurriculum Development:Design and update comprehensive IT courses that reflect the latest industry trends and academic standards.
Teaching Excellence:Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions across a variety of IT subjects, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and software.
Student Assessment:Create and evaluate examinations, assignments, and projects to gauge student knowledge and skills, providing constructive feedback.
Research Contribution:Conduct and publish impactful research in the IT field, and supervise student research projects and theses.
Professional Development:Remain current with technological advancements and pedagogical strategies through continued education and active participation in academic communities.
Community and Industry Engagement:Collaborate with industry experts to ensure curriculum relevance and foster opportunities for student placements.
Mentorship:Offer academic advice and personal mentorship to students, guiding them towards academic and professional success.
Minimum QualificationsCompulsory retirees based on IIUM compulsory retirement age from IIUM, other higher learning institutions; or distinguished figures from the industries, civil service, or professionals.
