This full-time position is based inKuching, Sarawak , where you will play a crucial role in the company's accounting and financial operations.
What you'll be doing
Oversee all accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filing.
Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, as well as the preparation of financial statements.
Provide strategic financial advice to management to support business decision-making.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulatory authorities.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to foster a high-performing team.
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of bookkeeping, taxation, and financial reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of providing strategic financial insights and decision support to management.
Proficiency in using accounting software and technologies to streamline operations.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of accounting professionals.
