Job Title: Senior Account ExecutiveWe seek a skilled Senior Account Executive to oversee full-cycle accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial standards, and support management through accurate reporting and strategic insights. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong analytical background, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Job Description:
Oversee and maintain the full sets of accounts - AP / AR / GL and Fixed Assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, conducting detailed analyses to identify trends, evaluate risks, and suggest actions to improve financial performance.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, resolve discrepancies, and ensure alignment between bank statements and general ledger.
Handle tax return preparation and filing, provide strategic tax advice, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and regulatory bodies for compliance and audit matters.
Guide junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment, and provide support to the Accounts Department with ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed.
Communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding across departments.
Prepare, review, and submit required reports to relevant authorities, including but not limited to the Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA) and Inland Board Revenue Malaysia (IRBM), ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Continuously seek improvements in accounting processes, resolve accounting discrepancies, and adapt practices to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Requirements:Minimum of 5 years in handling full sets of accounts, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, or CGMA preferred.
Advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for efficient financial management.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends, with high attention to detail in maintaining financial records and compliance.
Ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences, facilitating clear understanding and decision-making.
Proven ability to resolve issues, manage tight deadlines, and continuously optimize accounting processes for improved performance.
Experience in FinTech and Labuan FSA industry operation is an added advantage.
