Job Overview:SCORE EPCC is a Bintulu based Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning turnkey project management specialist. We are looking to hire a Senior Account Executive. You will be assisting the company to perform daily accounting tasks that facilitate the smooth running of business operations.You will play an important role in:
Coordinate and manage the group's month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Preparation of the monthly management reports for subsidiary companies.
Preparation of consolidated financial statements for the group, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze and review financial reports from subsidiary companies to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Oversee the consolidation process, including the elimination of intercompany transactions and balances.
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports.
Assist in the preparation of the group's budget and financial forecasts.
Preparation of financial modelling for cash flow projection.
Monitor performance against budget and provide variance analysis and commentary.
Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
Ensure accurate and timely settlement of intercompany accounts.
Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process and ensure timely provision of required information.
Assist with special projects and initiatives as required by the finance department.
Assist in tax compliance and planning activities for the group.
To succeed in this role, we will need you to have:
Possess at least a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or any related field.
Professional qualifications in ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent recognized by MIA will be an added advantage.
At least 5 solid years of experience in a similar capacity.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems and MS Office.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
