Costing - Malaysia:
-Set up and maintain standard costing in our ERP system.
-Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system.
-Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
-Analyze costs of raw materials and other supplies and create cost-benefit analyses.
-Analyze monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type.
-Conduct inventory reserve analysis on a quarterly basis and generate reports.
-Review rates of depreciation, labor and overhead and update them as appropriate.
-Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, inventory roll forward.
-Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories.
-Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analyses and profitability.
-Work in special projects as required.
-Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others.
-Ensure timely submission, accuracy and validity of inventory, gross margin schedules to management.
Accounting:
-Complete financial reports and month-end closing process on time
-Responsible for Monthly Bank Reconciliation.
-Responsible to provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
-Engage in stock take activities.
-Responsible for quarterly Bank Negara submission
-Effective liaise with bankers, auditors, company secretary and tax authorities
-Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

; Requirements:- EDUCATION LEVEL:
-Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Accountancy is required.
-Advanced qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, MICPA, or MBA are preferred but not mandatory.
KNOWLEDGE LEVEL:
-2-4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Familiarity with SOX testing and compliance processes.
-Strong proactive, strategic thinking skills, with the ability to lead change in an evolving environment.
-Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and business units.
