Senior Account Manager (SAM) new role based in Kulim High Tech Park, KedahAssigned to a group of accounts, this advanced role is responsible for overseeing the daily support, management and growth of the account and their interaction within the business. Input to the account strategy, the development of complex quote proposals and technical advice, communication and management of all manners of commercial and technical issues are routine for the assigned accounts. This role is often the subject matter expert at the plant level and has ownership for the assigned accounts and its relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as region Customer Subject Matter Expert to reach solutions;
Understand and respond to business processes/needs;
Solve complex customer and internal problems;
Manage internal and external two-way communications to promote the best interest of both parties;
Understand financial aspects of business;
Contribute to operational process improvement;
Act as an effective bridge for internal and external communication and responses;
Monitor, evaluate, and respond to customer complaints, application problems, and returns;
Manage Customer visits and protocols;
Facilitate effective in-region demand and capacity discussions with customers;
Assist Customer Focus Team (CFT) and Global Focus Team (GFT) with product/process qualification;
Learn and coach in-region teams on customer procedures.
Experience & Skills Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or 5-8 years of experience;
At least 6 years of project management experience;
Technical Aptitude;
Critical Thinking;
Customer Focused;
Prefer candidates from Semiconductor / Electronics / Automotive Industry;
Additional Information Regarding Position:
Some travel to the US, Taiwan, and South Korea may be required to meet business needs;
Required to work in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work;
Good command of English is required for this position; any additional Asian languages are a plus, especially Malay and Mandarin;
Must be willing to be based in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah.
