Senior Accountant (Based In Malaysia )

Responsibilities:Oversee the full spectrum of account closures at the subsidiary level, including the preparation of monthly management reports and analysis.
Review expense documents, process vouchers, and prepare statements to ensure timely and accurate expense reporting.
Manage approval workflows for Southeast Asia (SEA) companies, including employee reimbursement processes.
Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate tax filings.
Collaborate with external auditors, company secretaries, and consultants for interim and annual audits, as well as tax filing processes.
Ensure robust internal controls related to financial reporting, identify areas for continuous improvement, and implement changes through the change management process.
Perform any other ad-hoc finance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is required.
At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience with Big 4 firms or listed companies is advantageous.
Familiarity with group accounting policies, tax requirements, and internal control procedures.
Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance is a plus.
