Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.
This pivotal role requires an individual with a robust understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax compliance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage complex accounting operations efficiently while supporting the strategic objectives set by the Finance Director and CFO.
Proficiency in English and Chinese is highly desirable to facilitate effective communication within our diverse team and with external stakeholders.
The role demands a committed professional capable of navigating the demands of tight deadlines with accuracy and integrity.
Responsibilities: • Lead daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and adherence to financial regulations.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
• Drive the budgeting and forecasting activities, offering critical analysis to inform strategic financial planning.
• Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintenance of financial records.
• Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits, ensuring all financial documentation is prepared and available.
• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filing obligations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial process efficiency and internal controls.
• Oversee cash flow management, including forecasting, as well as managing accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Mentor and lead junior accounting staff, promoting a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Participate in and contribute to special projects and initiatives as directed by the Finance Director and CFO.
Requirements • Extensive experience in accounting, underscored by a thorough understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese is a significant advantage.
• Expertise in financial software systems and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field is mandatory; CPA or similar certification is strongly preferred.
