We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team asSenior Accountant, Regional Finance . Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regional Finance, this full-time and permanent position is based in Malaysia and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Regional Finance and its growth.
Key responsibilities:
Support Finance Director on finance business partnering role to a global business unit.
Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and schedules to support business performance review.
Prepare month-end closing analysis, including revenue and cost reconciliation, identifying & preparing relevant adjustment schedules, and working with other GSC Finance teams to ensure transactions are booked accurately and timely.
Assist in budget and forecasting initiatives.
Assist in financial and client data reconciliation and ad hoc requests.
Undertake ad hoc projects as needed.
Key requirements:
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in record to accounting/reporting area.
Experience in reviewing juniors' tasks.
Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
Computer proficiency in MS Office/Excel Applications.
Good written and oral communication skills in English.
Team player with good people and communication skills.
Must possess good customer service skills.
Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines.
Results-oriented and detail-minded.
Highly motivated with the ability to deal with ambiguities and work within ill-defined boundaries.
