Senior Accounts Manager (Based in Malaysia)The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead.Job Description:The ideal candidate shall:
Be responsible for the preparation of routine and ad-hoc accounting reports and schedules for our clients and other external parties, including preparation of annual financial statements;
Assist our clients in tax compliance matters, including preparation of corporate tax computation and submission, as well as GST review and reporting;
Assume the role of a team leader on accounting and related assignments, to ensure that assignments are planned, executed, documented and completed within agreed timelines and in accordance with relevant professional standards;
Provide guidance and supervision to junior colleagues;
Assist in the functions of client portfolio management;
Ensure all clients' needs are met, in regards to prompt response to client queries, build relationship with clients and anticipate requirements;
Provide clients with recommendations for improvements in processes and controls;
Participate in sales and marketing activities;
Requirements:Degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification under ACCA
Minimum 4 years accounting/audit work experience in an accounting firm
Well versed in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
Proactive, committed and a team player
Possess strong interpersonal skills
Possess initiative and ability to work independently
Preferably able to commence work immediately or within short notice
